Types of Breasts

Everyone has different boobs in terms of shapes and sizes. no two people have the same looking breasts. All shapes, sizes structures etc. are completely normal. The only concern is painful or sensitive breasts.

Even if you can categorize your boobs under a specific category, your boobs will never look the same as another individual. Sometimes, some people have boobs that may show features of more than one category and therefore it is difficult to put it under one category.

Types of Boobs Exist in Women

Below are the types of boobs:

1. Archetype

This type of breast is usually called the standard category of boobs which are full round with a small nipple at the centre. This is the most common shape and therefore the bras are usually designed, keeping this category as the standard requirement.

2. Asymmetrical

Asymmetrical breasts are that category of boobs in which the pair is of different shape or size. It is completely normal and common as more than half of the people have this category of boobs. Even the bras designed for this category of boobs are of different cup sizes. for this category, one should always find a bra that fits their larger boob and try to use breast enhancers to fit the other smaller boob.

3. Athletic

Athletic breasts are more muscular and wide as they have lesser breast tissues. Breast tissue with athletic forms is broader than the normal archetypal breast, which can make it difficult for those with athletic breasts to find a perfect bra. For this category, an underwired sports bra may be uncomfortable.

4. Bell shape

As the name suggests, these pair of breasts resemble a bell, such that they are narrow on the top and wide and round at the bottom. For this category of boobs, a full padded bra would be most suitable as it provides support to the upper slimmer region of the boobs.

5. Close-set

Close-set are boobs are generally classified by the fact that they have very less space or gap between the pair.  They remain closed and towards the centre of the chest. These kinds of boobs create a wider gap between the arms and the breast.

Different Breast Shapes

6. Conical

Like the name suggest, under these categories, the boobs are generally in the shape of a cone rather than a round shape. Usually larger breasts fall under this category of boobs.

7. East-West

This type of shape is generally common in small boobs. In this category, the boobs gravitate on either side and as a result, the nipples end up facing on the sides rather than the front.  Padded sports bras are the best choice of bras for this kind of boobs.

8. Relaxed

In this category of boobs, the nipples point downwards due to looser breast tissues. Push up and padded bras are the best option for this category as it helps to provide additional support and also lifts the bra.

9. Round

Rounds breasts are fully round from top to bottom and the nipples bulge out from a small point in the middle. This shape is usually uncommon. People who get breast implants, usually have this shape.

10. Side set

Side set boobs face towards the opposite direction from each other rather than facing on the centre. However, the boobs are usually fuller with the nipples facing at the centre. These pair of boobs have a larger space in between.

11. Slender

Slender breasts have nipples facing downwards as these boobs have lax tissues. A padded bra would be suitable for this category.

12. Teardrop

These pair of boobs are similar to round boobs but are less round r wide on the top and wider at the bottom. The nipple generally lies in the middle nut face upwards. Most of the sports bras are a good option for this set of boobs. A full padded bra may also be able to provide good support for this category.
